TNR - 1998 Fox Creek JSM

Anyone has this oldie lately? I'm having a hard time finding recent tasting notes, though there are a few on Cellertracker. http://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=2612. The recent notes are pretty succinct.

There seems to be one tasting note from February this year and four from 2012, seems pretty recent to me. The consensus is that the wine was well liked and is still youthful. All four tasters believed that the wine could use more time in the cellar.

I can't help you as my bottle is still slumbering and, judging by the reviews, still needs time.

Cheers.....................Mahmoud.

I understand that they vary the proportion in the blend of Cab Franc vs Cab Sav almost on an annual basis ... presumably dependent on the quality of the feedstock. I'd probably rate the high proportion Cab Franc years over the Cab Sav years as in my mind these would have the improved cellaring and maturing advantage. What was the predominance in 1998 ??? Reviewing the 2006 to 2010, it appears only the 06 and 10 had Cab Franc predominance ....
