One of my health issues resurfaced again last Friday, but I still hope to make it for the offline. Planning to take a 1995 Houghton Show Reserve Shiraz - subject to the cork, it should give the Centenary a pretty good contest.

The champagne sounds great and gets my vote. The champagnes will go well with the appetiser (both 98s too which should make for a good comparison) and we can have the sparkling red and the still pinot with the pork dish, leaving the reds for the steak.

Is there a limit to how much wine I can bring? I have a bunch of leftovers from tastings in the Barossa and Adelaide Hills that some people might want to try or take home. I just won't have time to drink them. They're open but still very drinkable as far as I can tell. Do you think it would be OK for me to bring them along?

Thanks everyone for making my first offline a brilliant one. I woke up feeling like someone had installed a washing machine in my stomach but I'll survive. Looking forward to reading Ian's notes so I will know if I liked the wine or not
