Help identify these old Bottles

Good morning all, I must admit firstly that Im not much of a wine guy, I tend to favour Beer more but did fall in love with Red wine in the Basque in Spain a few years back.

well what brings a beer lover to this forum? I found some bottles in my basement that I thought the knowledge pool here may be able to help identify the likely year/value (if any).

The bottles are gorgeous with lovely embossing on all sides and what appears to be a picture of the winery in the glass on the back and a crest on the sides.

any help with information will be greatly appreciated, I have also contacted Yaladra but they seem to be having trouble identifying them. I believe they are looking into it though.

Yob, they look very similar to the old Kaiser Sthul Kirsch or cherry brandy, probable release somewhere in the late 60s to the late 70s.

my mother often cooked with the stuff!!

The one labelled Chocolate Mint will be just that a flavoured wine probably fortified. If any where on the bottle has an alcohol reading it will help to make it out.

Can you read the other label - I cannot from the photo - probably similar?

Given the volume is in metric probably means from the 1970s (older wines have volumes in pints and or fluid ounces, etc)

Not the sort of thing which shows up much in the wine books of the time

The other bottle is Coffee Flavoured as to why you would want a coffee flavoured fortified wine but, you know, different strokes for different folks

Found a reference to this stuff in the June 17 1977 Royal Australian Navy News - full page Chateau Yaldara ad on page 4. Wrong size, though - 26oz, not 16oz (which is 560ml). Maybe they did that for the Navy only...

They could be gems, or they could be disgusting. But, asthe fluid is still in the neck of the bottle, they could be OK. Find someone brave and give them away if you don't want them. I doubt they will be of real value, even to a collector of weird alcohol.
