If I get a new job soon I'll be back for a second case - great value at $12. Better wine than the 2004 Leasingham Magnus or recent Seppelts Originals which was the last house wines.

Mixed vintages 6 pack of Capel Vale Whispering Hill Shiraz (2007-2009)
Mixed vintages 6 pack of Capel Vale Scholar Cabernet Sauvignon (2007-2011)
Old Kent River Chardonnay and Diamandtina (bubbles)
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

The "Green Chain", in Eastwood, Sydney. But on Wynnsday itself. They did seem to imply there were 'launch-day special' prices; the black label wines at $25 (6-packs) for instance..
But then, they wanted $100 each for M & JR. Perhaps they thought the Glengyle would be hard to shift...?

Graeme

I paid $34 for the previous Glengyle just a few months ago at a big green bottle shop. Assuming there's enough stock, I'm sure you'll get it fro $30something if you are prepared to wait.

BTW has anyone found any other cracking deals like the Leasingham above recently?

I got mine from the same place. At 5pm on Wynnsday they were $54. I hope you bought up at the $38 Graeme.

From the last few weeks or so.

3 x 2007 Peter Lehmann Light Pass Shiraz
3 x 2008 De Bortoli Estate Shiraz Viogner
3 x 2006 Seppelt Silverband Grampions Shiraz
3 x 2005 Eperosa Totality Mataro Shiraz
3 x 2010 Willunga 100 Shiraz Cabernet
3 x 2010 Cirillo Barossa Shiraz
2 x 2008 Kay Bros Amery Hillside Shiraz
4 x 2010 Wendouree Cab Malbec
4 x 2010 Wendouree Shiraz Malbec
4 x 2010 Wendouree Shiraz Mataro

With the wine silly season coming over the next 2 or 3 months, it's time to save the pennies for the yearly buys.

Cheers
Ian

So long as you had fun while it lasted Craig ;)

Found myself cheering on a NZ in the 1500m tonight. When an Aussie isn't in it then NZ will do :D

Was under no illusions that it would stay that way but fun while it lasted. NZ traditionally starets strong at the olympics as the events we are strong at are at the front end of the programme

Shame about Willis, that was disappointing. One more possible gold for us in the sailing

I was in the stadium cheering for him last night Craig. He faded when it mattered - much like a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc!

Half a dozen Ruggabellus wines after trying some at fermentAsian. I just love grenache and mataro and these 'fruit salad' wines hit the spot.

In my experience, they need plenty of time. They are normally very good with a few years in the dark.
