Bin 90A perhaps? Showcases how good a shiraz/cab can be.

Re: Adelaide Offline

Cool - sorted! The beauty of a magnum is that we can have a FULL glass of something while we're stewing over which wines to drink first.

Re: Adelaide Offline

Appreciate you letting me in David - I haven't been collecting for as long as some so it's likely that I'll bring something from '08. Also, having a look at what others are bringing we're very heavy on SA reds so I was thinking of something over the border. How about either a 2008 Yarra Yering Dry R...

Re: Adelaide Offline

Hi David, Haven't been to the forum for a few weeks so I couldn't respond. I got your PM and replied saying I was (still) keen. If there's no room could you add me to the waiting list - although don't count on me if someone pulls out close to the night as I have three young kids and my leave passes ...

I'm still waiting to see if I can make it. I will know by early next week.

In the meantime if someone else jumps in and wants to go, happy for them to take my place.

Re: Wendouree - Adelaide Offline

Please put me down as a tentative (subject to kids sport not falling on that night).

I have some gear from the '90s or '00s that would fit the profile.

Re: Adelaide offline Fri 5 Aug @ 7pm - T-Chow

Hi all,

I will be late, but should arrive at T-Chow by 7.30pm (possibly by 7.15pm).

Given that we would be starting with whites, is it still ok to bring the 2006 Vat 1? I reckon it would make for a good comparison against the 1996 that one of Ian's +1s is bringing.

Re: Next Adelaide offline

Cool, thanks Phill. Unfortunately my cellar does not really date back to 1996 (although I could see what Mark has in his current auction). Also do we need a white? If so I have a '06 Tyrrell's Vat 1 (wish I had a '96). Alternatively I could bring a red of some sorts from 2006 (possibly Dead Arm, Kay...

Re: June Offline in ADL

Hi Jamie, Unfortunately most of my SAK stock is Grange and too young to drink. Would you be able to source an appropriate Burgundy or Bordeaux in HK (or anywhere else you fly to!) for me and I can fix you up? Budget would be around $500-$600 AUD. Probably would be a good idea if I had a backup as we...

Hi Jamie, I've never tried a red burgundy wine with any age so personally I would love to try one that your recommend (I rate your palate!). As for the theme, I'd still prefer a SAK or at least 'go hard or go home' but will be guided by the majority. Look forward to catching up on the 19th Jamie! Ch...
