Anybody here a fan of Tyrrell and tasted their 2017 reds or followed the 2017 hunter vintage? All reports are that 2017 was a sensational year. Looking at getting a few for the cellar. Any info you can provide me with would be greatly appreciated.

Great wine. Made in a really good way. Not over commercialised and price increases have been very sensible over the past 20-30 years compared to some other well known wines. It's about $60 a bottle. Can do a lot worse, for a lot more $$.

I'd be leaving it a few more years. It had a lovely bouquet and lots of spicy fruit. It certainly wasn't past it. Not an amazing blow your mind wine but was certainly very enjoyable. If you have other wines that need drinking, I would go those first and leave this for another couple of years.
