Had a 90 Wynns Shiraz last night.. they are a bit hit and miss with a lot of variation. The one last night was nice but a not as vibrant as some others I have tried over the past 2 months.. I'd say they are at optimal drinking now though.. maybe another 2 or 3 years.

I love Sevenhill wines. I worked there for a time in 2008 and frequently go back to visit friends there. Sevenhill wines is where I developed my passion for them... from having long chats with Brother John May to have him open up the occasional special bottle of old Riesling or lovely red.

David Franz has all his reds with age. 2002 - 2007 for under $100.

I opened up a McLaren Vale Possum Vinyards 2006 Shiraz. Really good typical shiraz from that region. Finished it off with one of David Franz new Golden Scrumpy Apple/ Semillon Cider.. fantastic!
