Hi all,
Talking about music, my favourite band fr OZ was Man@Work. Wat happened to 'em now?
I listened to the radio @ work n now this fella "Gay" Sebastien, OZ Idol has been given too much of air-play for his single "Angels brought me here" till I get sick. Is he that popular down under?

Derek,
Since u r livin in UK, Grange is a bad investment. There's no demand for Grange in the UK, even the mighty 1998 is freely available n @ a decent price too.
If u buy to enjoy, it's a diff. story

Wizz,
U r not alone. Upon released, I lauded this wine to the sky. Drank a bt. fortnite ago n I shared the same opinion.
At this point their Wade Blk 2001 is a much better wine.

Why pay $400+ for a 1999 when u can buy;

1994 @ $220* (the closest in characteristic to the '98Grange)
1996 @ $270*

fr Wickman's auction.

*b4 buyer's premium.

Under $20, I go for TOP Wineries fr Riverland(rather than low-end wines fr more reputable region)
Do not underestimate the engine-room of the Australian Wine Industries.
2002 was a stellar and bountiful harvest fr this region.

Hi all, This bt. was swapped with a Amon-Ra '02 fr an Aussie collecter. My only other experince with Kays was their 1998 Hillside. I've very high expectation for this wine but was left a little dissapointed. Don't get me wrong, it's V.good but not an "epic wine" that will make my eye-balls poped out...

By investing in a $400+ Grange '99 is the easiest way to lose money.
Don't listen to Andrew Caillard, he is in the business of selling to generate "brokerage" for Langton. Very soon u will see plenty of '99 flooded in his auctions.

NOON ECLIPSE 2001
(bought fr Wickman Auction)

Color - Black
Nose - Perfume
Palate - big and gutsy, gobs of sweet ripe fruits, grippy tannins.
Lenght - long and lingering.

The best straight Grenache I ever had. A very serious "vin de garde" Miles ahead of their lighter 2000.
