6 x 2022 Curtis Family Vineyards Grenache Small Batch. Was a mystery buy from JD Cellars and not a bad quaffer for under $20 each.

Another 6-pack of the Leo Buring 2024 Clare Valley Riesling. 2nd bottle was even nicer than 1st tasted recently. Perhaps travel shock has settled.

12 x 2020 Woodlands Cab Franc Merlot. One of my favourite wines from all of Margaret River. Drinking superbly now and is too good to bother cellaring for long. Hunt some out for under $30.

If you had to choose between drinking great wine or winning Lotto, which would you choose - Red or White?

Dandelion Vineyards in McLaren Vale. wine maker is Elena brooks, who is doing some good things, occasionally with fruit from areas other than McLaren Vale

I’ve never been the biggest Drumborg fan. I can sense the inherent quality but tend to prefer the flavour and mouthfeel of Clare. That said, I have some older ones…. Who knows, might change my mind…..

Yes Mike, slightly different profile, perhaps a fraction less acid, but beautiful mouth feel. Have Drumborg going back to 02.
I love the delicate fruit profile Drumborg and Crawford River. Interestingly I really like Melissa Innes Ottelia Riesling from Mt Gambier...all cool climate
Got the Merle, certainly interested in Kenny, Limefinger and might look at Mt Horrocks.
Going to Clare in June will certainly be looking at heaps of Reisling.
