G'day
My first bottle from a six-pack purchased in 2023. 2019 was a good vintage in Tuscany. Ruby colour and pale at the rim.
Fresh red cherries and cherry liqueur, some leather, and oak-derived savoury dusty characters on the nose. Moderate intensity. The palate is juicy and mouthfilling, with a good balance of cherry fruits and savoury notes. Tannins are mildly grippy and the finish is more savoury than fruity. This would go well with food.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

I do like Isole e Olena.
Probably difficult to find, but I love their syrah ('eremo' Collezione de Marchi), which I find both representative of the grape, whilst also very much Italianate in style.
Beyond that, there are a lot of wines in their range, and I've not yet found one that wasn't at least worth the taste. It's been a while since I had a Cepparello, but very much enjoyed those I had.
I think I've just got a vin santo from them in the cellar now.
