Anyone into mezcal?

Post by Cloth Ears »

Just discovering how much better these can be than the tequila I occasionally had shots of back in my childhood!

Oh yes, I am massively into Mezcal as well ... not sure I have tried any of those though. Have you tried Del Maguey? They are my normal favourite.

OMG! Some of those bottles look downright amazing, and can't help make me think they are good. Though I live in Canada I have never been to Mexico not gotten into Tequila let alone mezcal. I assumed they were similar but am prepared to stand corrected.

I stopped buying wine because I like them aged and already have too many. Then I took up buying more whisky because once bottled they don't need to be aged. Now I have too many whiskies. I've also made a foray into dry, characterful rums (not the industrial big brands with their added sugar) so I don't know that I can afford to start exploring mezcal.

Cheers .............. Mahmoud.
