Kicking another one off and hope that these are the only purchases for the month
6 2016 Petaluma B&V Adelaide Hills Shiraz
6 2017 Leasingham Classic Clare Watervale Riesling
Both sharply priced in a current sale and with some cellar credits even better still.
Bakers 7 and Hudson Manhattan Rye from JKF duty free
I also picked up and immediately drank a 2016 Smith & Hook Cabernet Sauvignon from California's central coast. Not a bad wine, quite sweet fruited. Very new world.

Well spotted Bonzai, Sam may be a year ahead here.
Just when I thought I had made it into the third week of March, a case of Lindemans Hunter Valley 1403?? 2014 Shiraz.
$120 a dozen (off the back of a truck ), ridiculous price.

Hopefully that's it

Haven't you heard that Australia is always behind the trends in Europe??
Had this in Margaret River in November and it blew my socks away - reminded me of Leflaive Puligny Montrachet (well OK, a bit different in taste but the quality not so different) and I'm going to blind taste it with a few Frenchies when it arrives here in Singapore.
As a complete aside, have been lurking a lot but not updating much (last post quite a while back) only because now that I switched to a Samsung phone, I can't log into the website (it logs me out immediately) and I barely get the laptop out...

Yes, I have bought 6 and am down to two. Was recommended by my local wine store and went back for more but can't stop drinking it!

I have this in the decanter
Anyone else find this sulphured to buggery?

There are folk who will like this, but lets not pretend for a minute it is anywhere near Coche Dury.
One person's worked hard and sulphured to buggery is another person's struck match and complexity.
Of course I don't know white burgundy (other than the old Houghtons label) and have never been to Coach Jury.
Perhaps I'm just folk.

Not for a minute am I bagging you Michael!
I am playing the wine
I too am folk

To contribute to the thread, just bought a mixed sixpack of Foradori's. Mainly Teroldego and a bottle of the Nosiola. They fascinate me. I await the razzing for being a bit left field
Absolutely no offence was taken Michel, but thanks for saying.
We all have our preferences and these are crafted/formed (to some extent) by means. I wish I could drink some of the wines you do, but I'm not jealous. I get a lot of joy from the wines I can afford. I am sure if I went back to the wines I drank 20 years ago (I am looking at you Rosemount split label) I would find them shallow and short.

Dear Mr.Wizz
In view of the fact you have a personalised number plate ‘Teroldego’ I would suspect you are one strange customer
Sell the number plate asap while the grape is peaking

That is disappointing regarding the login issues
Yeah I can’t work out what is causing it.., Maybe I’ll try playing around with different browsers.
I'm impressed if you got the Ornato cheap - must be a EUR100 wine these days? The Ca Nova is most definitely value, and worth a look in if you find yourself in the village of Barbaresco.

Easily that price for the current drive on 2015 and the inaugural release of Mosconi is even more! It's up 30% on 2013 which I bought.
It's a 20 year wine for me. The oak needs time to shed and integrate and I think Serralunga fruit handles oak quite well. The 2008 were 60£ a bottle and I'll cellar three, drink one and present two in a vertical next year.
