Ok let's kick this one off. Who's up for a Barolo and Barbaresco Dinner on 4 May. Max 12. I'm in. I am also suggesting May as these wines pair best with pasta and other Italian comfort foods. The venue is now the Larder at W Wharf.

I am short of anything decent. May I make up for this sin by providing aperitif champagne?
If there turns out there is room, can I bring a mate who is interested in this?

Michael I was going to say if you're short any decent Barolo please just bring more of that wonderful French Champagne. I understand the Italians regard Champagne as an honorary Italian wine.

Dave sounds like you may be better placed to convince him to attend but I'll put a spot aside for him.
