Hi Ian,

Hang in there, buddy! Just remember doctors talk from statistical averages ... you can keep surprising them for the rest of a long and healthy life!
NB: I import wine from 100 boutique producers in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, NZ and SA. You may think my opinions are biased ;-) As opinions are :-)

Well saw the specialist yesterday and he is wrapped as am I . No regrowth, damage, bad stuff all looks great from scans.
17 radiotherapies down, 13 to go and we are heading in the right direction for sure.
Now all I need is my taste buds back so I can enjoy a good red or 5 and we are in business.
Thanks for all the well wishes from here, made me feel good to read you comments etc.
Cheers
Ian

Excellent news Ian! Dont' envy you the remaining radiotherapy treatments though. Hopefully your palate will return soon. My palate's been ok since ceasing all medication but since the interstitial radiation treatment for prostate cancer, difficulty in voiding the bladder seems as if it's a permanent after-effect - very annoying for a soak such as myself.

Congratulations to you and the medical team!

Cheers
