WA Great Southern Tasting - Thursday 11 March 2010

Post by Capel Vale Wines »

Calling all wine enthusiasts in Perth!

Capel Vale is considering exhibiting at this event as we own the Whispering Hill vineyard in Mount Barker, specialising in Riesling and Shiraz.

Is anyone here attending?

I am considering going myself rather than exhibiting, (good to be on the other side for once!) so let me know if you are considering attending.

Cheers

Where is it being held?

I cretainly would be tempted to catch up with you at this event. Please post details - I may be able to get a few people involved.

Can you please bring the Whispering Hill Riesling? A long time favourite.
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

Allan,

The 09 WH Rizza is looking good, after a year in bottle. DId you not try it at the cellar door recently?

This event is at Matilda Bay Restaurant in Crawley.

Cheers

G'day Scott

I'm afraid the 2009 WH wasn't available for tasting when I was last at CV in August 2009.

At the risk of advertising on Gavin's site, could you perhaps provide details of when and where this will be held? And even better, a website link? I may be able to drum up some interest.

Cheers

Scott

Have the links disappeared? Even on the Matilda Bay website (where you suggest the event will be held) and having checked out the sites usually associated with these events (including what you have suggested, Wine Association of WA) I can't find it.

I suggest, if you are promoting Capel Vale wines at this event, that you post a link in response to this email, to enable people to turn up and taste the wines you're promoting.

There will be some Whispering Hill, wont there? I'm prepared to do some deals....

Cheers

Sorry Allan,

Due to a staffing issue, we were unable to attend.

Hopefully we can make it to the next event and we can catch up then.
