1983 Furlong Royal Wedding Commemorative Port

Post by chewy_1974 »

Not sure if anyone can help. I have been given a 1983 McLaren Vale (Furlong) Shiraz Port. It is a limited number and has a bottle number etc.... It was made to commemorate the wedding between andrew and Fergie. I am sure it is worth something... any ideas how much? It also came with a parchment showing the royal lines og both family etc...

The only Furlong's VP that appears on Langton's price tool guide is a 1979 from Barossa Valley that sold back in 2006 for $14 plus commission:

Since it's one of (many) Australian VPs that have been produced over the years for Royal Weddings and the like that sell currently around that price, I think that's probably not too far off.

Cheers,
Ian

No probs chewy - I don't like being the bearer of bad news, but that's all that I could find.

Cheers,
Ian
