Ian will give full notes.
But I thought the 04 Greenock Creek Cab was full of Brett. !!!
And the 04 Majella Cab was an absolute stand out.

Out of 16 panelists, 9 voted the 2004 Majella CS most preferred, 6 second or third preferred - that's the biggest positive vote I've ever seen at BTs.
If it doesn't get another trophy or two at the Adelaide Wine Show I'll be very surprised - if it gets anything less than a gold the judges should be fired and the whole thing done again.
In contrast the 2004 Greenock Creek got 14 least preferred votes, and brett was again most probably the culprit. 35C isn't the best sort of room temperature to be assessing Cabernets (by the end even the Majella was showing signs of being knocked around), but it really did show the Greenock Creek at its worst.
Full notes to come later (maybe after this very busy weekend).
Cheers,
Ian

Forget about goodness and mercy, they're gone.
My stuff up there - sorry folks!
35C outside - inside it was still very warm (as a rough guess around 25C). The tasting was held upstairs and going back down after the tasting you could really notice a big temperature drop (back into the air conditioned shop).
So it wasn't the sauna you imagined from that stupid gaff of mine - that said it was still rather uncomfortable and I think most of us got the impression the wines were a little worse for it.
Cheers,
Ian
