Hi Good Peoples,
Today I have received 5 emails with zip attachments which contain a new virus. So if you haven't updated your virus definitions recently its time to do so.
Full details on the virus can be found at
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.novarg.a@mm.html
If you have opened
any attachments in the last few days it may be worth checking out the link.

Anyone that does not have an AV that updates aitomatically is asking for trouble. Goes without saying that the AV should be running 24/7

Not all systems allow automatic updates. Satellite software is incompatible with automatic updates for example.

Had no viruses; however my Symantic Internet Security has had two Liveupdates today, normally only a couple of times/week), and the Firewall component has trapped 3 BackDoor Trojan attempts.
A small price to pay; and you can write it off tax in almost all cases.
