Why do I want to buy SA wine from UK? It just does not make sense. It will still be cheaper for me to fly to SA from NSW than getting wine shipped from UK and paying more Tax and shipping cost. IN fact it will be just down right STUPID.

I live in the UK
I've previously looked at this website and my cellar contains predominantly Australian wines. Ordinarily you'd expect me to become a customer.
However I think this is SPAM and I don't do business with spammers.
Ian
p.s. If I've judged you wrong, please register & share your other wine opinions with the genial crowd here. In that situation, you'll be made very welcome.

Hello
Gavin Trott owner of the forum.
I too wonder spam, please post more freely, or better yet, email me regarding your connection with this business.

No not SPAM!!
I simply thought that when I found this site the other day, people from the UK may use it!
I found the shop in question about a month ago and was so impressed I tell everyone I speak to about it. Quality Australian wine is hard to find in the UK, most stores stock the basic lines but even the likes of Oddbins have ceased to sell wines like d'Arenberg, and finding something like the Dead Arm 2001 (a close 1st place favourite along side Meshach 1998) is close to impossible.
So, sorry if I upset anyone. If any of you know of any other shops of a similar quality please lety me know. (not outside the UK as shipping and tax is an issue).
Thank you.

Bit dubious..............
An isolated website curiously located. Introduction posted and introducer questioned. Dead Arm scarsity offered by way of mitigation. Dead Arm freely available, however, from supermarkets!
This author located said grog with one call.......
BTW, if you're interested in good Aussie wine, call Gavin Trott.....

Please let me know which supermarkets. Are they still charging a reasonable price? I have searched the internet sites and tried phoning most places I know to no avail.

Hi SAS,
My problem with the supermarkets was not so much the price but the QPR. Without having a good knowledge of what's on the shelf It becomes very hard to make a choice. Consequently, I left the supermakets alone, but good luck anyway!

I wouldn't hold your breath, this sounds like a bit of hyperbolic overstatement.

Most web forums are wary of guests posting brand new messages containing links to business sites. Now that I've seen you getting involved in other posts I'm happy to to concede I called it wrong. Please accept my apology.
