A few years ago Penfolds ran a series of other tastings in capital cities. From memory I think they were titled 'The Rewards of Patience'. I attended one in Sydney and was blown away.

Has anybody heard if any more of these events will be run?

Thanks for posting that.
I rang to obtain the clinic registration booklet and it is not available as yet.
I also asked if I should bring in my 86 Granges as it is well known that the corks have been less than perfect.
The fellow at the Penfolds 1300 number was brilliant and said they know the batch numbers of the less than perfect corks and will email the batch # to me.
So anyone with 86 Grange- and there was someone late last year whom said he had quite a bit you may actually have the good corks and can work that out.
feel free to pm me and I can tell you the # when they arrive
cheers
