A good rule of thumb is the 2002 Rieslings were better than their 2003 counterparts. Its true overall, but some exceptions do stand out.
This is one, among the best 2003 Rieslings I have tried and a must have for any Riesling lover!
All style and class, very very intense, but with great poise and balance. Intense fragrant lime aromas, floral hints, citrus and a touch of mineral completes a wonderful nose. The palate doesn't disappoint, tight and structured, long and flavourful, with pure natural acid on the finish, this is Clare Riesling at its finest. Drink some now for that beautiful flavour, and cellar some for 10 years, wonderful wine, and great value for money!

Gavin,
I think Phillip White also raved about this wine saying it is the best 2003 Riesling he has tried, which is a pretty big call but might be justified.
Last I heard of Brian Barry was that he wanted to retire and sell the business. Looks like he is still going 100% full steam ahead.
cheers
