Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help me in my quest to locate some 2003 F'Able Shiraz. My wife and I were recently given a couple of bottles of this wine and we were very impressed.
I recently purchased a case of Vinecreat 2001 Shiraz; however I thought the F'Able was better.
Cheers,
Steely Dan

Are you familiar with the label Wayno?
I thought it was sensational hence why I'm hoping someone can tell me where to purchase it.

No, not familiar at all sadly, just sounds like an unusual name for a wine.

Try google or wine searcher usually works for me . try winesearcher first as it lists if any retailers on the web have got it (even if its in Langtons), otherwise search google. Good Luck

F'Able - yes it does have that ring to it.
However, a Langtons Catalogue of Nov 2006 has the entry:
F'ABLE, Vintage 2002
Reserve Shiraz, Barossa Valley
6 Bottles per bottle $20-30
See:
http://admin.langtons.com.au/uploads/catalogue/S264.doc
So it does exist. I've never heard of it however.

I think they are probably brands from the many that Cellarmasters direct
use to have. I often wondered how they made up all those strange brands.

I believe F'Able is short for Fohrer & Able, a label hailing from the Barossa, with some connection to Rolf Binder.
My father in law used to buy some from Theo's, before it was sold to Coles.

You were right in your 1st post John P. The Langton's listing was the one. And no, F'Able isn't an abbreviation of Fohrer & Abel - different spelling. I'm still trawling the net looking for some.
