2000 Lenton Brae Chardonnay

I hadn't heard of this Margaret River chardonnay until a friend offered me a taste, although I understand the winery has been in business for 20 years. Immediately went out and bought a six pack.

Lots of pear on the nose and on the palate, this wine is a lovely medium-bodied example of chardonnay. Perfect with a cheese fondue, and I expect it will still be delicious over the next couple of years.
