1992 Rosemount Balmoral Shiraz:Dark red color with minimal brick-red on the edge. The nose shows a big sweetness, like a good old bordeaux, with an ripe fruit and a lot of spices. In the mouth is a good structure with sweet ripe tannin, some dark fruit, a bit of spices and a medium sweet finish.

I've not tried the 92, but I've had many bottles of the 91. Campbell Mattinson rated it 95 at a tasting in dec 06. and our wine group have loved it since it was a $18 baby on release. It's a great with with some years still to go.

I think the chances of getting some in Germany may be tough. But i think it's worth the effort
