My cellar management is appalling (no fault of RB Cellar Master, just me), so I keep finding wines that should have been consumed by now. Hence I happened upon the 1994 E&C. But fyi if any of you out there said it shouldn't be cellared long (and a few did), it was beeuuutiful!.

I drank my last of these in mid-2006, thought it had pretty-well peaked by then, but you make like your reds older than I do. They were a good wine, with terrible marketing, I still have a couple of 98's (in the extra-tall cartridge top bottle) that are still going strong.

I drank my last five years ago, and thought it was very good & at its peak.

I was told by someone from Southcorp representing E&C at the time they thought the 1994 was an early-maturing vintage and to drink up soon - it's good to hear it's still kicking on.

Cheers,
Ian
