I was very pleased to receive the 'Irregular Update' today. Ric is on the mend, with fingers on the keyboard.
Guess you can't keep a good man down for long:!:
Welcome back Ric
Cheers,

Hi Mr Clause,
Thanks for the kind words.
It's good to be pain free again after almost six months.

I did think it was a bit rough 707 asking about the next tour before Ric had the chance to finish writing upt the last one
But we have all been looking forward to the write up and will no doubt be looking forward to the next one
Only trouble is all the recommendations that I want to get but have no chance with the current wine budget
Ric, I hope you continue to heal
Cheers

I don't mind Steve asking or even taking the mickey; we have been good mates for years now. After all, what are friends for?
The ankle is doing well (I think.) Yesterday I was allowed to start to put some weight on it for the first time and today I went to work for a few hours. Its great to be out of the wheel chair and use the crutches.
It looks like the next trip should (hopefully) be early September again.
David, as far as no one being safe, have you been reading over my shoulder? Wait till next weeks article.

Or you could come visit sunny Queensland, and escape the southern cold
Best time of the year to enjoy red wine here. Nights are cool, days are perfect......
How about it Ric

I'm only Ric's bag-carrier, but thanks for the invite.
I've heard QLD wines are improving, but I don't think they've improved enough to warrant a winery trip yet. Especially when there are all those 2004/2005 reds to cover in SA and Vic (and WA).

Maria,
If its beer, I have already had double my yearly allocation of the stuff. I have had two beers this year! So it had better be the other alternative.

Santa Maria, wasn't he the bad guy at the Alamo?
Anyway Santa, you could certainly tempt me with either or both kinds of XXXX, the weather is so cold here in Melbourne that I can't get my reds warmed up enough to enjoy!

My, how things have deteriorated from the first posting in this thread
From "welcome back Ric" to "xxxx"........
My historical knowledge of the Alamo is not very sound. Anybody really "remember the Alamo:??
I do know that Santa Maria in ancient times was St. Mary. More applicable to me....being so "Saintly"
Further....everybody is invited to visit Queensland.
Cheers,
Maria

Santa Ana was the guy at the Alamo - Santa Maria I thought referred to the Virgin Mary
