Happy New Year one and all!! I trust we all downed several good drops over the season - so I propose we share a few stories over some more
good drops for the first Brisbane Wine Club dinner of the year.

Date: Feb 2 or 9 - the end of January looks busy with Australia Day celebrations so lets aim for the first couple of weeks of February.
Theme: perhaps Chardonnay (with some regional and international representation
Venue: tba - perhaps Mondo in West End.

All the above is up for discussion so feel free to make your thoughts known.

I had a brilliant Italian dinner here a few years ago:
http://www.giardinetto.com.au/

If this place is still going I'd like to go there again - the set menu/corkage packages look fantastic.

Cheers,
Ian
