A bit of history

I have just been given a bottle of wine which comes from Kalgoorlie and dates from the early to mid 70's, it has wonderful tasting notes on the label which are worth sharing:
The Goldrush Kreppy's Rotten Klaret
An unusual "Rough as Guts" Red Wine that has the Distinctive Bouquet of old and ill-cared for camels. It is best drunk with the teeth clenched to prevent the ingestion of seeds and skins. Connoiseurs will savour the slight Tannin Taste of burnt Emu feathers and perished Prospectors jock strap. Possessors of a cultivated palate will admire the initial assault on the taste buds which comes from the careful and loving blending of circus cage floor hosings with soiled medical dressings. The maturing in a Boulder Abattoir hogshead gives it a very nose. In Italy this select wine is marketed as "Saviour Brand" (9 out of 10 people who drink it for the first time exclaim "Je-e-esus A Chri-i-ista!).
It won bronze at the "Kings Cross Poofters Convention" of 1970 and a Free Pass to the 1973 Starting Stalls Re-union".
Caution: Avoid contct with the eyes and open cuts. Keep away from "naked flames" (both old and new)
750ml
Produce of Australia
Vince, who gave the bottle to me, says that the tasting notes are remarkably accurate, although I am not game to open the bottle.
Peter.
