Yep, it's definitely a Shiraz!

Could be from Clare? But not a great vintage.

(No the glass isn't a Riedel and it does go in the dishwasher!)

Our dog also has quite a liking to red too. It now comes trotting into the room expectantly on hearing the pop of a cork.

But no, not from the glass.

She's so cute. Can you bring her to the next offline?

Remind me not to borrow your glasses though.

Sorry Kris, "she" is a "he", his name is Raz (short for Shiraz of course), but he is pretty cute. We will get him a girl companion later this year or early next year.

I only bring the Riedel set in the aluminium case to offlines, he doesn't get his nose into them at all.

I had "he" to begin with and then changed it after trying to carefully examine the photos.

Couldn't see any evidence of he so changed it to she. But then I'm not very experienced at looking for that sort of thing!

He's only a 14 week old pup, and the photo is from a modest angle, here's a different angle. 8)

I'm not into hunting, so just a great mate and exercise incentive. We had 2 female weis for about 14 and a half years, then a break for a few years. We looked at Vizsla and GSP, but kept coming back to the weimararners again.

Brian,

You need to get software with red eye reduction. Also, I notice in the last photo Raz is not wearing a collar, if he has outgrown his let me know and I will post you a freebee.

The camera is sposed to reduce red-eye, but it doesn't always work, I've got the s/w, just too lazy to use it all the time.

The collar still fits fine, it was just off for a while, thanks for the offer though.

Chortle-chortle, Gary W!

Thought I would be the only one on here that would notice that tragic fashion faux pas. Also, the apricot-coloured vinyl lounge is a concern.

Not last time I looked in the mirror.

Have jeans and running shoes combos been banned in Sydney now? Or is it just dirty white shoes?

Hey girlie, when you survive the 60's and 70's and get to my age you can wear what you like. How about a pic of you in your winery gear? :)

And it's leather, a bit scratched by the prior generation of dogs, so waiting for the puppy stage to pass for the next two before replacement.

Nah, the 80's and 90's were a breeze compared to the 60's and 70's. What are Brookes? :?

Maybe the pic can wait a bit Brian...

Right now I have this mental image of Wine Girl looking a bit like Uma Thurman from "Kill Bill Volume 1", complete with samurai sword poised to slice and dice any comments she doesn't happen to like!

Cheers,
Ian

GSP - now that's a real dog!!

Owned many, trained many - love 'em to bits.

One of the best utility gundog you will ever have, and great mates either at home or on very cold mornings when you wait for the ducks to come and your GSP mate eagerly waits with you, and then gives you a real look of friendly despair when you miss everything and he has to go home without doing what he loves - great dogs.

Oh, sorry! this is a wine site - forgot about that!!!

Must buy some Kalleske.

Nice looking Wei (grey ghost) tho!

Its funny Ian, looking at your Avatar I would have guessed that your mental image of Wine Girl would be more her looking like Princess Leia in the metal Bikini at Jabbas palace  [/quote]
