Either date is OK. None of that minty Coonawarra rubbish though.
I was thinking a nice cool climate low alcohol shiraz or even a pinot noir.
Seriously I am a bit down on the Coonawarra at the moment

Does that alcohol free shiraz at Coles count ?

My partner and I would be keen for the 29th - particularly if cool climate shiraz or pinot is the theme!

I was only joking about cool climate shiraz.
In all seriousness it would be great to see some comparisons as they should show better with food.
I was hoping to bring a pinot myself.
It would be great to see a new face.

Hi All
I have engagements this and next Friday, but will lobby for a leave pass for the 29th. Put me down for one at this stage. Yasmin is just to uncomfortable to sit up for long periods at the moment.

Count me in for 1. Thanks for organising Brett.
BTW, can we get a consensus vote on Miro's? I don't really like the place, but I'm happy so long as most of the attendees do like it (or have never been there).

At this stage you can put me down for two other couples. Colleagues of ours have expressed a real interest. Will provide details soon but that should make 14.

We have a friend visiting from England and would like to bring her along.
Mind if I call Miro's to up the booking to 15? We're thinking of bringing a great southern pinot, a cool climate shiraz and anyone mind if we break the theme and bring a marsanne from 2000.

Can everyone confirm they will be coming please.
Miro's called me to tell me they will have to turn away others and will be pissed off if we dont fill our seats.
Also decant wines before coming if possible / necessary. Also i would suggest bringing your own glasses as well.
I have also added an extra two so the total is 16 right now. They are posting out the menu which i will put up when it arrives.
Oscar - I will wait a few days to book that extra seat when everyone confirms...usually 50% drop out in the week before
thanks
brett

One of the 50% here!
Our four guests cannot find babysitters because it is school holidays. They are still trying and may find babysitters but as Miro is is full count them out and if they can go we will have to plead with Miros on the night.

they have advised because of our size we should go the set menu. Probably the $39 pp as it includes corkage and we can get the paella in that option.
Check out the menu above...hope u all have acrobat

Sorry guys, going to have to bail. I was in Melbourne most of last week, and leaving a very pregnant Yas with the two littlies again is not a good call. I was hoping I might get some signal that it would be okay, but that hasn't appeared. I am disappointed as that looks like a food-friendly line-up, and I love Spanish food.
Have fun
Michael
