Cooralook Wines

Post by KMP »

Has anyone seen or tasted wines from Cooralook? From the advertizing of Conquest Beverage Group of New Orleans Cooralook Wines are owned and operated by Mem and Robert Kirby the owners of Yabby Lake Vineyard (and part owners of Heathcote Estate) and the wines are made by Tod Dexter. I've a feeling that some of wines may be a second label to Yabby Lake and Heathcote Estate which can be seriously good but hard to get here in the US.

Their Aussie site is here.

It is a second label. These are modest wines. Quaffers. There is a Heathcote shiraz and a Mornignton Peninsula Chardonnay worthy of interest. They are honest fair wines. They are not spectacular. They retail at about $A16 and that is what they are worth.
