Just got some more of this at a good price at the Langton's Auction that finished yesterday, so opened one from the cellar to see how it is travelling. Nose had plenty of VA at first, but a couple of hours in the decanter and the blackcurrant and vanilla flavours were more prominent. Silky mouth feel with great balance, blackcurrant fruit and vanilla oak once again dominant. Probably could have done with a bit longer in the decanter, but the steaks were done. Marked not to be tried again for another 2 years and I expect when I try another one then I may say the same thing before it reaches it's peak. At current secondary prices this wine is a steal.
