You could probably attend this, write an article and make your money back.

Why can't I find a GP like that?

(Not too sure about the white wine being as good for you as red though  )

Brian,
I came across an article by Dr. Phillip Norrie, a GP in Sydney, a wine maker and also a wine historian. In this article he quotes several other articles that claim white wine is better for you than red.
White does not have as much resveratrol but has some other stuff that does some good things. When I get back from Beijing I will dig it out for you.

Yes some people have far too much money. Still, I'm sure it was fun.

If anyone is interested, I read an article on the 2004 event which is in PDF format at http://www.topwinesofthecentury.com/200 ... riteup.pdf

Maybe one day :P
