Tempting the TCA Gods

Hi Good Peoples,
Have had a terrific run of luck with out any bottles for awhile now. On 12 July I had a TCA affected 1991 Wynns Centenary and Wynns dug up a replacement from their museum stock.
Then 26 good ones and a dud 97 Port Philip which was replaced with a 2001. Ten good ones followed and my mate Tom opened a bottle of local bottle of PiNot (which was meant to be pretty good) for me to try and it was corked so it was no great loss. Then another 41 perfect bottles in a row and every time I opened a good expensive bottle I was sweating waiting for the evil TCA genie to rear its ugly head.
This morning was my regular monthly Sunday breakfast with Nicki and it was at her place and even though I often take a bottle of Frog Bubbles some reason I didn't this morning. Nicki opened a bottle of 1998 Seaview Pinot Sparkling which was badly tainted and I just smiled and breathed a huge sigh of relief and drove home and grabbed a bottle of 90 Piper out of the fridge that was perfect. Not often I am glad to see a defective bottle but the last two were perfect choices.
