TN: 1996 Balgownie Cab Sauv

I haven't written on the forum for a long time so here goes and I'm sure never a TN or Tasting impression.
I opened this wine the other night and found it to be excellent. Please insert aged Cab descriptors here. It was to me the complete amalgamation of fruit, wood, tannin and acid. This was so perfectly balanced I was bowled over. I was expecting a good wine but this truly surprised me.
I love opening a bottle that I have no prior knowledge of and being surprised.
If other forumites have information or TN they would like to share regarding this wine I would like to know.
Best of all I have 2 more bottles. This is drinking at its peak. I can't see it improving and I wouldn't bother if the other night is anything to go by.
