Croser.....cellar potential?

Post by graham »

I'm a newbie at collecting wine and am curious if any Aussie sparklies have a decent cellar potential eg. Croser. :?:
While I'm picking your brains......how about fortfieds as well.

tried the 92 from vineyard 8 years on lees
lovely balanced wine.
Always remember what do you hope to achieve by aging a sparkling wine?
it may just soften and not necessarily develop the characters you like.
by all means experiment but be cautious.
do i sound like i speak from experience

I think a wine like the Pirie from Tassie would be a better cellaring proposition than the Croser, I think that slightly leaner style would see better integration over time.
