Hi fellas,
A couple of mths ago I posted "a wolf in a sheep's clothing" The wine was Casas Cab'99 fr Margaret River A ripper of a wine but shame about the packaging but then again "beauty is skin deep".
This time I've encountered the opposite. The presentation is probrably my candidate for the best looking btl. fr AU n the rest of the world(barred Mouton 2000) Solid btl., it nearly broke my back when I lifted the full case.
Toasted charry oak on the nose. A bit light on the palate, lacking in depth. Everything is there but the puritan content never aspired to my expectation based on asthetic value.
Trevor Jones should put in more winemaking effort in his flagshipWild Witch 1999 not in the savvy packaging. I'm sure the ornate btl. cost more than the liquid.
