Ben

FWIW I received my allocation on August 11 in suburban ADL.

My CC was debited only a few days prior to delivery.

I think this was highlighted last year about crayon colours and allocation system, but i was a "Virgin" last year without success and this year i received a red crayon stripe and still no success...living in Adelaide...is it because of really low stock for 2003?

Probably as most serious estate producers suffered lower cropping levels so those higher up the pecking order will snare a bigger % in 2003.

Nice red crayon was it? They are high tech at Wendouree of course.

The Wendouree dry reds were all limited to a 6 bottle allocation per style this year. And from memory no cabernt sauvignon available at all.

A $1099.20...that seems more than 6 bottles worth! Or they have made a mistake with charging you?

I looks like I got the full set.

6x Shiraz Mataro = $216
6x Shiraz Malbec = $228
6x Shiraz = $252
6x Cab Malbec = $252
6x Muscat of Alexandria (of course) = $108
Total = $1,056 + freight and insurance = $1,099.20 (I presume)

Hey Adair, mine just got charged too. Your order is too rich for my blood although I did laugh when I read your post "celebrating" a $1000 hit to the fantastic plastic. Not often that would happen!

Always amazes me how the Shiraz Mataro is the cheapest as its my favourite of the bunch followed by Cabernet Malbec.

I actually bought one bottle each of 3 of the 4 reds, forgot which, from another Wendouree member in order to taste them without cracking open my cases yet. They will be opened and reported on soon.
