Sunday Red

Post by Finney »

Hi all,

I have a few oldies that I have no idea how they will be drinking and wouldn't mind some input if they would be suitable for Sunday lunch at a restaurant. Any tips which ones, would be past it or drinking well now:

Mick Morris 1990 Durif
Tyrells 1990 Vat9
Lindemans St George 1991

Look forward to your replies

Finney, I can vouch for the 91 St george. If it has been well stored, it will be a great drop right now. I've had a lot of these over the last 3 years, none poor, some outstanding,

cheers

Andrew

I havent had the 90 Morris anytime recently, but an 86 drank beautifully late last year, and a 92 drank a couple of months back was but a pup. Given the year you should be in for a treat.

Cheers,

Lennie

Had an 89 Mick Morris last week. Still full of fruit and travelling well.
