Chardonnay In Australia

In an article that is sure to create more than its fair share of discussion Jeni Port has picked out five regions in Australia that produce quality Chardonnay. They are in no particular order of preference Margaret River, Adelaide Hills, Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Tasmania.
IÂ’d agree with the first and the last having had excellent wines from both regions. Its been a while since IÂ’ve seen a Petaluma chardonnay and I canÂ’t say that any stand out in my memory. I guess the Hunter still just makes Semillon!
Port's next list of wine regions is for Shiraz. That should be an interesting link to post.
