For around $8 you can't beat the complexity of flavour.

I try more expensive wines with big write ups & they don't compare.

Hi Salisbury W, that's a BIG statement.

I'm sure we're all interested to know which "more expensive wines" you've tried that don't compare? That will allow us to add valid opinions or maybe even point you in the direction of wines we do think compare.

My initial thought was SPAM but it was just too simplistic to be that.

I doubt we'll hear from SW again coz I doubt he knows any other wines other than the one he loves.
