I am organising a tasting
In order of wines, should a sauv blanc go before or after a Clare riesling?
TIA

in Europe:
younger wines are tasted before the old ones
common sense:
dry before sweet, but...
it's YOUR tasting and YOU are the boss.

Riesling then Sauvignon Blanc.
Depends on the RS in the wines but that would be the best order usually.

Drink the riesling first and then pour the Sav Blanc down the sink. You'll thank me for it.

Cloudy Bay 03 very smart. Lovely....and now you mention the wine absolutely should be served after the riesling.
