Moss Wood

Looking at Langtons why does the 96 Moss Wood sell for more $ than the better 95 Moss Wood? Was there less 96 produced? Have tried both and 95 is the better wine.

There are a lot of wines sold at auction on the vintage reputation...There are an equally large number of buyers who are incapable of recognising that WA is a long way from SA and a "good vintage" in SA is not a "good vintage" in WA.... 95 was regarded as an ordinary vintage in SA and the punters don't realise that it was an excellent vintage in WA.
