Claymore wines

Last night I got to sample the last two inches of a Claymore wine that had been opened since the start of the week. It had been refrigerated since and showed great promise.
The wine was the Claymore "Dark Side of the Moon" 2002 Shiraz. A Clare/McLaren Vale blend at 14.5%. I searched Auswine for a listing but to no avail. A short reference on Ric's 2003 tour of SA and from what I could glean from what he did not say, he was not too impressed.
I would like to try a full bottle. Any ideas where other may have seen some?

Graham, it has limited distribution but I've got a bottle of their 2002 Reserve Shiraz in a Blacktongues lineup on May 18th so watch this space. If it's any good I'll follow up on them and pass on details.

Thanks for that. I will just have to wait. You must spend your days seeking out little known but monster red of SA. Do you need an apprentice?

Yeh, I spend alot of time keeping the ear to the ground and following up the new players. It's quite exciting when you discover a Glaymond, Kalleske, Massena etc. One of the advantages of being close geographically to where it all happens.
Always looking for a companion in my travels.

Saw this wine yesterday at a bottleshop in Norwood, Adelaide, at about $30 from memory.

Guess who is stupid?
Went to our Liquour Barn this morning, something I rarely do as I work in one of the detached bottleshops, and guess what I found on the shelf.
You guessed it. Dark side of the Moon. $22 approx. We will be having this for sale in my shop next week. I didn't buy one today as I have to prepare the 82 Hill of Grace and 89 Grange for a birthday dinner tonight. Well.... someone has to do it. Leave them in the cellar for too long and they might spoil.
