TN: 2002 Irvine Zinfandel Reserve, Eden Valley

I first tried this blind at an Auswine tasting panel last year and it stood out for everyone as the wine of the tasting. I couldn't resist cracking one of 3 in the cellar and trying it again.
A sharp,crisp red color with a nose of cherries, strawberry, plum pudding and some white pepper. The palate is full bodied with dense blackfruits, strawberry, musk and looseknit tannins. Nicely balanced with good length, an excellent wine.
