What ever happened to that fabulous lampooning newsletter?

Did they get shut down or just run out of steam?

they made a big splash at wine australia 2002. then a few months later, crashed and burnt. ran out of steam. got tired. stopped having the time. whatever. spittoon never had a revenue model, so it was just for the love/hate of it, and the people involved were talented/in demand/busy etc etc. so it died. sadly. some fo their stuff wasn't bad.

Greetings all,

I fear that Oberon and friend(s) may have been involved in some herendous drinking incident.

Saldly missed.

The last I heard from them was an offer to buy a T-shirt before Iraq War II.

"Make wine, not war."

Nothing since.

Max Allen is pretty busy these days though, his antics are sorely missed.

The bit on the merger between southcorp and rosemount was spot on, the part about aussie bob oatley landing at magill in a jump jet still makes me smile
