And I like Pinot Grigio, particularly the very good drop produced on a farm from which I used to steal apples as a kid, T'Gallant in Red Hill.

Why didn't you pinch the grapes too? Didn't you like 'em unfermented? Or are the apples part of the wine? :?

Hi Daz,

I probably should have explained. I used to live on Tucks Road in Red Hill as a kid, left about 32 years ago, just behind T'Gallant.

The current vineyard was an apple orchard back then, as were most of the present vineyards in the area - wouldn't have known what to do with a decent grape back then in any case, at 12 or so I seem to recall being a beer man.
