Bass Phillip

Attended a tasting last week in Melbourne. The 2002 Estate Pinot was lovely in every respect. A full bodied Bass Phillip style pinot, clearly with a long life ahead of it. But the 2003! Lovely too. But oh-so different. Olives? Coffee? Have never tasted a pinot from Bass Phillip like this. Seems from talking with the maker, that 2003 was "unique". Worth a try, if only for the experience, because mark my words, 2003 from BP is unique.
