TN: 1994 Seppelts Show Reserve Sparkling Shiraz

Post by markg »

I look forward to opening a good, chilled sparkling shiraz on a warm night and Seppelts just keep providing the best in my opinion, from their budget Original Sparkling Shiraz through to (this) their premium Show reserve. This was opened for a special occasion and did not dissapoint.

I just love the way these wines build in the mouth as you hold them there and they warm up releasing flavour after flavour...

A rich, full bodied wine with a creamy palate of intense black fruits and complex tar and licorice on entry, velvety tannins and lovely, lingering flavours of mushroom, tar, truffles and blackberry on a looong finish... Yumm!
Cheers
