I wouldnt mind seeing more detailed "who am I" I really liked the old forum as you could read a bit more about the characters contributing to the forum...
Aside from that...Looks good! regular forum crashed today...maybe time for the opening!

Let's post them here.
As you can see, I have created a locked Who Am I Forum. This means you can't post into it, but I can. Please post your bio in this forum, and once you are happy with it, let me know and I'll move it into the locked forum. This let's it stay readable, but have only these in the forum ... decent idea??
Start them with your name.
Naturally, if it suits you you can copy and paste from the older auswine to save time, or you may wish to revise it anyway.

"WHO AM I":
: My name is Peter Kennedy Hence the acronym Peterk.
: I was born and bred in western Queensland. As a product of the outback in the late 50s, I was exposed to a medley of educational methodologies including the school of the air, the sisters of mercy,and boarding school.
: On completion of my schooling, I decided London was the place to be, deferred my place in law and tracked overland on the old hippy trail. On return to Australia I entered the politics of the shearing sheds.
: A sojourn to New Zealand followed and my employment in civil construction commenced. This led me to Kununurra of all places and eventually to the 'big smoke' of Brisbane where for nigh on two decades I have embraced self-employment with in the construction industry.
: A visit to chateau Tahbilk in 1991 started an interest (read almost obsession) in wine. Matched only by fishing.
: I do not profess to be a connoisseur of wine more an amateur de vin. I have a climate-controlled cellar consisting of mostly australian reds, ports some rieslings,a smattering of pinots,and a few chards. My collection-cellar includes two hundred or so V.Ps both Australian and portuguese's. To use Davos words I am not afraid to "take my palate for a stroll".
: I have been an occasional contributor and a frequent reader of the forum for approximately two years and enjoy the Tasting Notes/Vibes and banter of all. I look forward to an ongoing relationship with the forum.
